On May 8th, ate the Torribera Campus, we held our periodic meeting with our colleagues who are part of the Computational Biology and Drug Design (CBDD) group. During the first part of the meeting, we conducted a technical session focused on the enhanced technique of Metadynamics. This consisted of an initial theoretical talk by Rhys Evans, followed by a hands-on practical session led by Brian Medel.

Subsequently, we had several scientific presentations by researchers from different groups. The presentations were as follows:

"Environment effects change FRET distributions in a fluorophore-tagged disordered protein", presented by Daniel Gonzalo, a doctoral student from the Computational Photobiology Lab, led by Prof. Carles Curutchet.

"VF-57: Targeting the release of the fusion peptide in influenza A virus hemagglutinin", presented by Aitor Valdivia, a doctoral student from our research group, under the supervision of Prof. F. Javier Luque.

"Perspective on the remodeling of the Diagonal team", presented by Prof. Jordi Juárez-Jiménez, group leader of the Computational Molecular Design group.

"Conformational sampling of leptin-derived peptides", presented by Mireia Gómez, a doctoral student from our research group, under the supervision of Prof. Carolina Estarellas.

After the presentations, we all enjoyed a meal together at a nearby restaurant.

To sum up, it was a very fruitful day that allowed us to strengthen bonds with our colleagues and exchange scientific knowledge. We are looking forward to our next joint event!
